Jamie is responsible for development and investment within the student residence programme.
Prior to joining Temprano Capital, Jamie was co-head of Hines Spain. During his 14-year career at Hines, he led all acquisition, development and asset management activities, throughout Spain, including responsibility for the full ground- up development, asset management and disposal of a prime retail mall in Madrid. Other direct development experience included full project oversight for office and residential developments in both Madrid and Barcelona. Jamie also led a number of master planned community projects and changes of use under land option agreements.
Prior to Hines, Jamie spent 5 years as a property director at Prima Inmobiliaria (later Testa Inmuebles en Renta).
Jamie has lived and worked in Spain for 26 years. He began his property career as a valuation surveyor at Richard Ellis. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
Mariela is responsible for Accounting, Planning and Financing.
Prior to joining Temprano as finance director in 2016, Mariela spent 20 years in corporate roles in real estate, holding senior positions for Hercesa Inmobiliaria, Grupo Lar and Lar Grosvenor.
Her experience spans Spanish, Eastern Europe and Latin American markets, and she has lived and worked in Madrid, Mexico City and Shanghai.
Mariela is based in Madrid and speaks Spanish, English and Mandarin.
Before co-founding Temprano Capital in 2013, Neil has held a number of senior executive and non-executive positions. In 1997, he was appointed Chief Executive of Grosvenor Europe being charged with establishing and implementing Grosvenor’s European infrastructure and strategy. He ran this business from Paris for 12 years during which he invested heavily in Spain and Portugal as well as in France, Italy and Belgium through a variety of proprietary investments, clubs, partnerships and own-managed funds. He implemented the entry of Grosvenor into Spain and Portugal in 1997 and by 2007, he had successfully implemented its exit from the Spanish market.
Since 2009, Neil has focused on establishing new businesses in geographic locations where he sees value and has experience. In 2010, he co-founded Almacantar, the London-focused developer, of which he remains a shareholder today, and from 2012 returned to his Continental European roots co-founding Temprano Capital which, to date, has focused on Iberian markets.
Neil is currently a non-executive director of Sonae Sierra and a Senior Advisor to Grosvenor Group Limited. Previously he has held a variety of non-executive directorships including of the Leducq Foundation, Majid Al Futtiaim Properties, Grupo Lar Grosvenor and Société Foncière Lyonnaise.
He is based in Madrid and speaks English, French and intermediate Spanish.
Victoria is responsible for development management within the student resident programme.
Prior to joining Temprano Capital, Victoria worked as a project manager for Gleeds in Madrid, Atlanta and New York. She has lead numerous office and residential projects and has experience in retail and infrastructure.
Victoria holds an M.A in Architecture from the E.T.S.A. Madrid and, before becoming a project manager she worked in design for several architectural and engineering firms.
She is native bilingual in English and Spanish.
Julio is responsible for controlling and planning Temprano’s Finance Department.
Prior to joining Temprano in 2020, he spent 18 years in the Pharmaceutical sector for Abbott Laboratories and AbbVie Spain & Austria and Real State for Grupo lar and Ferrovial Inmobiliaria.
He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from C.U.N.E.F (Complutense University)
Julio has lived in Spain, Canada & Austria and speaks fluent Spanish and English.
Irene has Spanish-German nationality and 10 years of experience in the real estate investment sector. She joined Temprano Capital in 2021 as Investment Director focusing on the groups new acquisitions within Iberia and Italy.
Prior to that, Irene worked as an Investment Manager at The Student Hotel focused on the expansion of the group in Iberia of a high-volume hybrid hospitality model.
Between 2014 and 2018, Irene was part of Hines Spain concentrated on the sourcing, analysis and execution of investments in offices, retail, logistics, residential and student housing sector throughout Spain managing a variety of capital sources and investment profiles. Prior to that, Irene worked at CBRE and JLL within the hotel and retail investment departments.
Irene graduated in International Business (E-4) from ICADE – Universidad Pontificia Comillas and European Business School of Stuttgart as well as in the International Real Estate Program from IESE – University of Navarra.
Irene is based in Madrid and speaks German, English and Spanish.
Versatility is the characteristic that best defines Inma.
During her 25 year professional career she has worked in senior executive roles in 4 different countries (USA, UK, Ethiopia and Spain) in sectors as diverse as investment banking, energy, industrial, audiovisual and real estate.
Her experience spans responsibility for projects from restructuring of companies to digitalization. Her key strengths include multicultural management skills and team building, digitalization, adaptability, resilience and a business driven and entrepreneurial mindset among others.
She has studied at IESE (PDG) and ICADE (E-4) and speaks English and Spanish.
Maria is responsible for accounting, treasury and taxes.
She developed her career in the Audit division at PwC in Madrid office. Maria has more than 10 years’ experience in finance and accounting at the real-estate sector, having held management roles in real-estate residential and hospitality real-estate companies. She holds a B.A. in Management Business Administration and Law.
She is based in Madrid and speaks Spanish and English.
Prior to joining to Temprano Captial, Isabel spent 10 years in HR roles in Pharma, Aviation, IT and Banking.
Isabel graduated with a degree in Law and completed a postgraduate degree in HR Management and Employment Law at the National College of Ireland and at the Dublin Business School.
Isabel has lived in Ireland and Poland and she is currently based in Madrid. She speaks English and Spanish.
Enrique Biel Gleeson
Enrique is responsible for asset and development management of retail assets.
Between 2001 and 2009, he worked for Grupo Lar and Lar Grosvenor as development manager. He was development manager for the development of two regional shopping centre schemes: Islazul (Madrid) and Splau (Barcelona).
Prior to 2001, Enrique worked for THI / Lend Lease, responsible for acquisitions and development management in Spain and also worked in investment and development roles for international real estate consultants CBRE and Knight Frank in London, Düsseldorf, Munich and Madrid.
His areas of specialisation and experience centre on development and asset management of retail assets.
Enrique has lived in Spain since December 1994. He speaks English, Spanish, German and French.
Laura is responsible for corporate marketing and retail asset marketing.
Prior to joining Temprano, she had experience in France and Spain as an export manager and project manager for marketing and digital-marketing products.
Laura graduated with a degree in International Business and Marketing at ESCI, Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (UPF). She also completed a postgraduate degree in Music Business Industry at the BSM Barcelona School of Management, Universidad Pompeu Fabra, in Barcelona.
She has lived in Australia, Germany and France. She speaks fluent Spanish, English and French, and is conversant in German and Portuguese.
Pavlina is an experienced operations manager with 15 years’ experience in real estate management in international and multi-cultural environments, with specific focus on value driven asset performance optimisation and client service.
She is based in Madrid and speaks English, Greek, Spanish and Portuguese.
Prior to joining Livensa Living, Juan María held senior management positions in Gategroup as director of facilities, fleet & project management. Juan María has more than 15 years’ experience in facilities management, maintenance, projects and technologies with specific focus on innovation, process modernisation and sustainability.
Juan María carried out improvement projects based on optimisation and efficiency. He believes that well implemented technologies give people the tools to transform processes, change their environment and improve their lives.
Juan María is based in Madrid and speaks English, Spanish and has notions of French.
Before joining Livensa Living, Jeremy spent more than 14 years in the student housing sector working for The Student Hotel as Sales and Marketing Director and for Collegiate as the Iberian Director of Operations. Prior to this he worked in the hotel industry for Louvre Hotel and AREAS as sales manager.
Jeremy is French and has been working in Spain for 24 years. His areas of specialization centre on sales and operations in the living sector.
After 20 years in Barcelona, Jeremy is now based in Madrid and speaks French, Spanish, English and Italian.
