
Plaza Imperial is a two scheme Commercial Complex which incorporate a Retail Park (42.000m2 GLA) and a Shopping Center (86.000m2 GLA) adding up to a total GLA of 128.000m2. It is located at the entrance of Plazathe biggest Logistics Park in Europe, right in the conjunction between A2 and Z40 roads.
How we saw the opportunity
Plaza Imperial opened in 2008 as the biggest Commercial Complex in the region, but the opening of Puerto Venecia, the biggest Commercial Complex in Spain, four years later and the worldwide crisis made the center suffer an incremental lost of tenants up to the end of 2017. With tenants as Decathlon, El Corte Ingles or Verdecora supporting the commercial offer, an economic cycle that supports new investment, and the possibility to lease at a competitive price gives the opportunity to revert the situation of the Complex.
How we add value
Plaza Imperial offers the opportunity to project a lease plan which borns already adapted to the new reality that Shopping Centers will be facing during the next years with the increase relevance of ecommerce in retail consumers daily habits. Therefore, we are creating a Complex based on client experience more than pure retail, holding an important area of leasing with the biggest bowling in Zaragoza, modern competitive cinemas, gym, padel centers, karting among others and new incorporating new concepts of leisure in Shopping Centers as the Shooting Range
